Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were strung up.
They're also easy to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features, consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller comes with several other clever features, such as docks that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without you having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 you can make use of voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums that also include mops but is priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.
It's important to note that mapping takes quite a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels that it required a flip to get it out of the way. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This keeps the system tidy and prevents allergens recirculating. Highly recommended Internet page is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle avoidance. It also features an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt and deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and was not always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also quite high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums/mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision. The application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they're near soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they are empty.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home which allows it to know where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It also comes with other highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is an excellent choice. It offers a broad range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains a little quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed very well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It is very silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it's possible to take a photo of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so great at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
